In the two cases before us, defendants appeal from separate orders affirming two unrelated judgments of conviction. Both turn on the introduction of psychiatric evidence in the defense of a criminal case. We hold that the trial court in each case acted within its discretion in precluding the defendant from introducing a portion of his psychiatric evidence.
