Defendant's guilt of the crimes charged was proven beyond a reasonable doubt and the verdict was not against the weight of the evidence (People v Bleakley, 69 N.Y.2d 490). The jury reasonably credited the testimony of the complainant that defendant pointed a gun at him, announced a "stickup", and told the complainant that he would shoot him regardless of the complainant's failure to resist. This provided ample evidence for the jury...
