This action stems from the repeated sexual abuse of a five-year-old by an unknown assailant. The child's father, who was first charged with the crime and then cleared, brings this action individually and on behalf of the minor child against several defendants, including officials in the state office of social services and the attorney for his former wife, the child's mother.
