TOM GRAY, Justice.

Donald Price was tried in the justice court and found guilty by a jury and ordered to pay a fine. He filed an affidavit of indigency and requested that he be allowed to appeal without any cost to himself. The justice court would not allow the appeal in that manner and advised Price that he had to post an appeal bond. He filed a petition for writ of mandamus with the district court seeking to compel the justice of the peace to allow...
