Plaintiff, Robert Smart, brought a negligence action against the defendant, Chrysler Corporation, for injuries he sustained while working as an employee of Helmkamp Construction, a sub-contractor for independent contractors ABB Flexible Automation and Fluor Daniel, which were doing work at one of Chrysler's plants in Fenton, Missouri.
