On December 8, 1994, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information charging defendant, Paul W. Biglane, with one count of distribution of marijuana in violation of La. R.S. 40:966 A. Defendant was arraigned and pled not guilty. On January 15, 1998, a hearing was held on defendant's motion to suppress evidence and identification and defendant's motion for disclosure of confidential informant.
