Doru Stancu appeals the decision of the district court to grant a Fed.R.Civ.P. 50 motion for judgment as a matter of law. In effect, this decision overturned a jury verdict awarding Stancu damages in his anti-retaliation claim, pursued against Central Apartment Management, Inc. d/b/a Gables Residential Services ("Gables"), under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-3(a).
