The cases of Roberta Jean Moore (defendant Moore) and her co-defendant Donna Jean Duggins (defendant Duggins) were consolidated for trial at the 21 April 1997 Criminal Session of Forsyth County Superior Court; each was convicted by a jury of the offenses of attempted first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, solicitation to commit murder, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
