On February 1, 1997, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Albertson's store manager, David Swissler, observed the Juvenile, J.C.G., leave the store with what looked like a bottle in his pant's pocket. Mr. Swissler caught the Juvenile in the parking lot of the store and escorted him back inside the store. Mr. Scott Sonnier, another manager, helped escort the Juvenile to the manager's office.
