The sole question presented by this appeal is whether a suit filed by the plaintiff, Kenneth Dozier, within the three-year prescriptive period for filing claims under the Jones Act and general maritime law, but not served on the defendant, Ingram Barge Co., until after the prescriptive period had expired, is barred by prescription.
