This case presents a novel issue in this circuit; whether or not a spouse can recover loss of consortium damages for an injury that occurred prior to the marriage between the injured party and the spouse seeking damages. We hold that there can be no recovery for loss of consortium damages for a prenuptial injury that manifested itself before the marriage.
