Defendant-appellee Charles Green pled guilty to the manufacture and cultivation of 4,315 marijuana plants with intent to distribute, 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). He was sentenced to probation. The government appealed that sentence, and we reversed and remanded for resentencing. See United States v. Green, 105 F.3d 1321 (9th Cir.1997).
