Frank Dimeglio petitions this court to issue a writ of certiorari quashing the trial court's protective order prohibiting the deposition of Dr. Paul Dernbach who performed a physical examination of Dimeglio on behalf of respondent, State Farm. We conclude that the order of the trial court constitutes a departure from the essential requirements of law resulting in a material injustice that cannot be remedied on plenary appeal.
