STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Paul Trice was charged by an amended information with Robbery, as a Class A felony, Aggravated Battery, a Class B felony, and Criminal Gang Activity, a Class D felony. Trice was charged in a separate information with being an Habitual Offender. After a jury trial, Trice was convicted of aggravated battery and criminal gang activity but acquitted of robbery.
