Gina Gigot was convicted on December 18, 1996, of one count of mail fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1341, and one count of making willful false statements relating to matters before the United States Department of Agriculture in violation of 15 U.S.C. § 714m(a), after she pled guilty pursuant to a plea agreement.
