VRATIL, District Judge.

On December 4, 1997, plaintiff filed suit against his former employer, Raytheon Aircraft Company, seeking damages for employment discrimination and retaliation in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1981, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., as amended; for retaliation under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act ("ADEA"), 29 U.S.C. § 621 et seq.;
