On February 23, 1998, Kimberlee Anne Watts suffered a serious spinal cord injury in an automobile accident. She sustained a C-4/C-5 subluxation causing C-4 quadriplegia. As a result, she is unable to move all four extremities, and unable to control her bladder and bowel.
