This is an adoption case in which James Lee Reid, appellant and natural father of the adopted child, challenges the adoption on the grounds that 1) he received no notice of the petition for adoption and 2) the petition was neither signed nor verified by the person seeking the adoption. Appellees Gregory S. Frazee, who is the adoptive father, and his wife, the child's natural mother, ask that the adoption stand or, alternatively, that the case be remanded...
