Mark Anthony Maye appeals a denial of a petition for a post-conviction writ of habeas corpus. In two points of error, appellant contends (1) the trial court had no jurisdiction to rescind its first order granting the petition for a writ of habeas corpus upon untimely motion by the state and, (2) the trial court had jurisdiction to grant appellant's first petition for a writ of habeas corpus under article 5, section 8, of the Texas...
