Marilyn Guillot filed suit for health insurance benefits against her two successive insurers, Blue Cross of Oregon and Blue Cross of Louisiana. The trial court absolved the first insurer, Blue Cross of Oregon, finding that its policy was no longer in force when Mrs. Guillot incurred substantial medical bills approximately ten months after returning to Louisiana.
