WILLIAMS, Judge.

The defendant, Veronica Victoria Walker, was charged by bill of information with manslaughter, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:31. After a jury trial, the defendant was convicted as charged and sentenced to serve forty years imprisonment at hard labor. Defendant now appeals, urging that the evidence is insufficient to convict and that the sentence is excessive. We affirm the defendant's conviction. However, we set aside the sentence and remand the case...
