D'Last Corporation, the plaintiff, appeals from the dismissal of its complaint pursuant to section 13-217 of the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure (735 ILCS 5/13-217 (West 1994)) which permits a single refiling of an action.

The facts relevant to disposition of this case show that the plaintiff first filed a complaint for injunctive and other relief on January 15, 1992 in the chancery division of the circuit...
