The defendant was convicted of violating a protective order issued pursuant to G. L. c. 208, § 34B (three counts). On appeal, he alleges that the trial judge erred in denying his motion for a required finding of not guilty. We reverse.

We recite the pertinent facts in the light most favorable to the Commonwealth. See Commonwealth v. Hilton, 398 Mass. 63, 64-65 (1986).
