Plaintiff Schering Corporation (Schering) and involuntary plaintiff Roussel-UCLAF SA (Roussel) are co-owners of a pharmaceutical patent. In October 1995, Roussel granted a license under the patent to defendants Zeneca Inc. and Zeneca Holdings, Inc. (collectively, Zeneca).
