Plaintiff-appellant, Daisy Lee Warner, appeals the judgment of the trial court awarding her $6,000.00 for damages sustained as a result of a trip and fall injury she sustained on broken concrete at the curb of a City of New Orleans sidewalk on June 24, 1992.1 The trial court apportioned fault 60% to the City and 40% to the plaintiff.
