KUHN, Judge.

The defendant, Kerry John Parfait, and a codefendant, Dominic John Piazzo, Jr., were charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine, in violation of La. R.S. 40:967C. The defendant pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, was found guilty as charged.2 He received a sentence of five years at hard labor, with credit for time served. The defendant has appealed, alleging seven assignments of error,
