Dr. Henry Remet was admitted to River Oaks Psychiatric Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "River Oaks") on November 20, 1993. He committed suicide by hanging himself, using his belt and the shower head in his room. The plaintiffs, his wife and daughter, sought and obtained a medical review panel as to Dr. George Daul, the treating psychiatrist, and River Oaks Psychiatric Hospital.
