LANDRIEU, Judge.

The State charged Desmond G. Harris with theft of items valued between one hundred dollars and five hundred dollars. After he pleaded not guilty a jury found him guilty as charged. The trial judge sentenced Harris to two years at hard labor. The State then filed a multiple bill, and the trial judge found Harris to be a second offender, vacated his original sentence, and resentenced him to two years at hard labor.1
