DOUCET, Chief Judge.

Plaintiff, Leon Delahoussaye, appeals a judgment of the trial court dismissing his suit against defendant, Delchamps, Inc. (Delchamps), for damages he allegedly sustained in a slip and fall accident on January 13, 1994, in defendant's New Iberia store. We affirm.
