This appeal arises out of the conviction of the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, cocaine, a violation of § 13A-12-211, Code of Alabama 1975. The appellant, Benny Lee Williams, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. The trial court suspended his sentence, but enhanced his sentence by 10 years, pursuant to § 13A-12-250 Code of Alabama 1975, which imposes five additional years' incarceration for selling controlled...
