WILLIAMS, Judge.

The defendant, Latara Faytrell Harris, was indicted by a Ouachita Parish grand jury for the offense of second degree murder, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. After a trial, the jury found the defendant guilty of manslaughter, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:31. The trial court sentenced the defendant to serve forty years at hard labor. The defendant appealed her conviction and sentence. This court reversed defendant's conviction and remanded the matter...
