Defendant was charged by bill of information with possession of stolen property, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:69(B), and possession of cocaine, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(C)(2). Following a trial on the cocaine charge, the defendant was found guilty as charged. He later pled guilty to the possession of stolen property charge.
