U.S. v. FALLS

No. 96-2491.

117 F.3d 1075 (1997)

UNITED STATES of America, Appellee, v. Lamont Gentry FALLS, Appellant.

United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit.

Decided June 27, 1997.

Rehearing Denied August 1, 1997.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Richard Biggs (argued), Atlanta, Georgia, for Appellant.

Lester Paff, Des Moines, Iowa, argued (Don C. Nickerson, United States Attorney, on the brief), for Appellee.

Before FAGG and HEANEY, Circuit Judges, and NANGLE, District Judge.

HEANEY, Circuit Judge.

Lamont Gentry Falls appeals his drug-related convictions. Falls primarily argues that the district court erred in admitting the testimony of a government witness who connected Falls to drugs and weapons unrelated to the drug conspiracy charged in the indictment.2 Although we agree that the court abused its discretion in allowing the testimony, we find that the error was harmless and affirm Falls's convictions.
