Susan Bryson appeals a judgment in favor of her former lessor, Jan Gravolet, and the lessor's insurer, United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company (USF & G), awarding a total of $14,284.77 in damages resulting from a fire found to have been caused by a smoldering cigarette.
