On June 13, 1997, a jury returned a verdict in this case in favor of plaintiff on his breach of contract claim in the amount of $377,077. In doing so, the jury necessarily found that plaintiff was discharged without cause and that defendant's articulated reason for dismissing plaintiff — that he exceeded the Bank's trading limits — was pretextual.
