Appellant Billy D. Sams, d/b/a Grant Park Auto Sales ("Sams"),1 a retail seller of used automobiles, sold a 1987 Chevy Blazer to Brian K. McClain, a citizen of Illinois, retaining a purchase money security interest in the vehicle.
