GOTHARD, Judge.

The defendant, Eric R. Issac, was charged by bill of information with two counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(A). When arraigned on the charges, the defendant entered a plea of not guilty to both counts. The defendant proceeded to trial on both counts, and at the conclusion of the two-day trial, the jury returned with a verdict of guilty on count one...
