OPINION

FEDERICO G. HINOJOSA, Jr., Justice.

On the evening of November 28, 1991, Don Campbell and Anthony Fadely were riding in Campbell's truck drinking alcoholic beverages. When they came upon a car parked in an area located a few miles north of Raymondville, Fadely and Campbell shot and killed the car's occupants, Pedro Villacana and Vina Dawn Chapa, with a .22 caliber rifle. Fadely owned and provided the weapon. Both men are currently serving life sentences...
