In satisfaction of four indictments, defendant pleaded guilty to the crimes of forgery in the second degree, criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and grand larceny in the third degree. He was sentenced, respectively, to consecutive prison terms of 2 1/3 to 7 years, 1 1/3 to 4 years and 1 1/3 to 4 years for a cumulative prison term of 5 to 15 years. Defendant contends that the sentence is harsh and excessive...
