Jerry Trousdale was killed in a one-car accident while he was a passenger in a Corvette he owned with his wife. At the time of the accident, Joanne Grygiel was driving the Corvette with his permission. Trousdale cancelled all but the comprehensive coverage portion of his Corvette's underlying insurance policy prior to the accident.
