Brown, the defendant below, from a jury verdict setting aside a deed purporting to convey property she owned jointly with Jacob Lease, appellee/plaintiff below. The plaintiff filed this action in the Circuit Court of Monongalia County alleging that property he held jointly with the defendant had, by forgery or fraud, been conveyed to defendant's mother, who subsequently died and left the property to the defendant...
