Sammie L. Bradford was arrested for speeding in Decatur, Illinois; the police found a loaded firearm in his vehicle. Bradford was indicted on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1), and he entered a plea of not guilty.
