GRANT, Justice.

Eben Gibbs appeals from his conviction for the offense of aggravated assault on Hope Medcalf with a deadly weapon. He contends in two points of error that the evidence is insufficient to show that Gibbs's pickup truck was used as a deadly weapon or that the victim, Hope Medcalf, suffered serious bodily injury, and that the trial court erred by denying his motion for instructed verdict on that basis.
