The defendant, Arthur L. Morris, was charged with one count of possession of cocaine, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967. After a bench trial, the defendant was convicted as charged and sentenced to serve thirty months at hard labor. Defendant appeals, urging that the court should have granted his request for a mistrial pursuant to LSA-C.Cr.P. Art. 729.5.
