Plaintiff-Appellant, Linda Holmes, appeals the district court's order granting a new trial to Defendant-Appellee, police officer George Fabianich, on Holmes' claim of excessive force. In addition, Holmes' attorney, Edward Gilbert, appeals the district court's order sanctioning him for unreasonably and vexatiously multiplying the litigation in violation of 28 U.S.C. § 1927.
