The defendant, Orson Pegues, entered a plea of guilty to a violation of probation, possession of a controlled substance, and illegal use of a firearm by a felon. He was sentenced to consecutive terms of four years' imprisonment for the weapons charge and three years' imprisonment for possession of a controlled substance, both to run concurrently with a term of seven years' imprisonment for the violation...
