On 25 October 1992, defendant Michael Dean McAbee and Nancy Henson rushed Henson's four-month-old daughter to the Park Ridge Hospital emergency room. Dr. Kenneth Michael Dennis conducted a thorough examination of the child and concluded she was suffering from central nervous system hemorrhaging.
