Defendant-appellant, Joseph M. Adams, appeals from a judgment of forfeiture (of a bobcat carcass) pursuant to R.C. 2933.41(C). Adams contends that the forfeiture was a criminal and punitive sanction that violated his constitutionally guaranteed rights to protection from double jeopardy, because it was entered after the criminal complaint against him for possessing the illegally transported bobcat carcass...
