Defendant was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, MCL 750.227; MSA 28.424. Following a preliminary examination, the 36th District Court issued an order suppressing the evidence of the weapon and dismissing the charge. In the Detroit Recorder's Court, the prosecutor argued there was no violation of the Fourth Amendment and moved to reverse the district court's order suppressing the evidence and dismissing the charge.
