KOELTL, District Judge:

The plaintiff, Marie Drew, has brought this action alleging that the foreclosure action instituted in state court by the defendant, Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. ("Chase") violates a discharge in bankruptcy that she received in 1980. She has made numerous applications in state trial and appellate courts, and in the bankruptcy court, all in an apparent effort to avoid foreclosure; all of them have been unsuccessful....
